I met a potential patient today. A 75 yo who can’t afford $750/wk for 5 hr nightly caregiver. Depends & Chux pads line her couch, she can’t attempt to get to commode & risk a fall. She lies in urine & feces 8 hrs til caregiver arrives at 9am. This is America. I have no words.
