At @solanaciv , we used the X-Ray scanner by @sec3dev to audit our open-source Rust/Anchor programs for the hackathon submission. Audits are important but also expensive. Tools like X-Ray make audits more accessible for smaller teams at early stages of their journey. We recommend!

We're rolling out minor updates: - Units can now evolve through epochs when the required tech is unlocked (e.g. archer -> crossbowman -> rifleman). - Added storage capacity for resources. Default is 50. Can be increased with buildings. - Rebalancing & fixes.

In the upcoming release, we're adding city population and housing. Food will no longer be a global resource. Instead, it will accumulate separately in each city. Recruiting new settlers will now cost -1 Citizen. A city's population will grow when enough food is accumulated.

Feature update: units automatically heal (+5 HP) every turn if they didn't move or attack. This is happening after the NPC/opponent attacks. The food resource is now used only for population growth in the cities.

We are enhancing the UX of research. With the new research queue system, players can schedule their research activities without the need to select a new project every few turns. Additionally, we're introducing notifications to alert players when a new technology is unlocked.

Development build of SolCiv with controlled territories. Every city will have its own territory. Builders won't be able to upgrade tiles outside the controlled territory. Borders expand as the city and population grow. Build more cities to capture new resources quickly.

Three levels of difficulty are available in the solo game with bots. The difficulty level controls the spawn interval, the speed of NPC progression through epochs (from warriors to tanks), and the amount of gems players can earn in a match 👀

Buildings like Market, Bank, Stock Exchange increase the gold yield of your empire. 🪙 If the treasury is empty or gold income is negative - it won't be possible to recruit new units or build constructions that have maintenance costs until player improves the economy.

To unlock advanced units and buildings, players must research new technologies. Every city produces a certain amount of science points per turn. This can be increased by building libraries, schools, etc. The more science points you produce, the faster your research progresses.

Maintenance cost for buildings and advanced units is coming shortly. It will be automatically deducted from the player's gold income or treasury at the beginning of each turn. Research and build constructions in the Economy technology tree to increase gold yield.

Reworked Wall Mechanics: Walls now have their own HP and take damage first. The repair of walls costs wood and stone resources.
