Something that really irks me is how many assistant director jobs hire so last minute. Big jobs that have only a week between the application deadline and the rehearsals starting is not a financially stable or sustainable way of living for most people

I had a complicated op on both of my legs this morn, was v nervous. Turn out, the anaesthetist I had is a hardcore Six fan. She literally sang “don’t lose your head” at me as she smothered my face in a gas mask to knock me out. 10/10 for dealing w nervous patients. No notes.

First show back as FOH at a major theatre for the hols. The industry is almost on its knees and it feels like audiences are adamant not to wear their masks in an auditorium of upwards of 1000 people. Please wear a mask and stop shouting at FOH staff with your pinot noir in hand

Went to Copenhagen on my hol & got pneumonia, tragedy. Whilst on bed rest I’ve learnt that 3packs of fizzylaces have done more for me than 2weeks of antibiotics, I Hate Suzi Too is the best telly ever and Tesco don’t do 3for£1 sweets anymore. Here are some cute pics of my trip:)
