The main problem with new retail traders is they all want to get rich quick. No one wants to put any time or effort in. People think 2-5 years is a long time to spend getting rich but feel like 40 years at a 9-5 is not a long time to stay broke. Where is the logic?

Everyone wants to “drop out” of college but people don’t realize you need to put in 100x the work as someone with a degree to be successful especially in trading. But there is a reason why there are so many successful dropouts. They know if they stop working there is no plan B.
