Baking can be extremely therapeutic to do alone or a fun activity to do with family members or children. With the current environment where the majority of us are finding ourselves with more time at home, it can be a great opportunity to practise our baking skills!
Feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression can leave us feeling overwhelmed and helpless. Particularly when external situations that affect us are out of our control. We've put together some coping strategies to protect your mental health and help you feeling positive and calm.

After years of yo-yo dieting and the prospect of a lifetime of counting calories, Sandy needed something different. She now feels in control, has lost >10% of her body weight, and is no longer at risk of type-2 diabetes. Perhaps more importantly, she is enjoying her food again!
We spoke to two Second Nature members who have been completing the programme whilst in self-isolation to find out which features of the programme theyโve found the most helpful and how the programme has influenced their daily routine during this period ๐

Our programme aims to bridge that gap and help people make positive, sustainable lifestyle changes in a way that fits with their life. For example, we provide daily support and guidance from a registered nutritionist to help sustain motivation long-term.
Our recent survey suggests that people are struggling with emotional or stress eating in this new environment. Thatโs why weโve written a 3-part guide series looking at the science behind emotional eating, how to identify it, & strategies to prevent it. You can read part 1 below.
