#Historia is the mother of Eren's child, and AoT no Requiem is the only tangible media currently depicting the plot beats present in the actual ending of Attack on Titan, even if not exactly how Hajime Isayama would have executed them, unfortunately.

I love how Historia agreeing with Eren on the Rumbling is such a natural evolution of her character's selfish nature. She does it for her child and her country, even at the cost of so many others who are innocent. Her reasoning is uniquely justified, and different from Eren's.

This is an early draft of Attack on Titan chapter 139, where Eren says he doesn't know why he did it, and "you are free" is slapped on. As you can see, "you are free" is COMPLETELY absent, proving without a doubt it was only shoved in to dissuade that question.

I don't view 137-139 as chapters in the Attack on Titan story, but just a very fascinating look into the corporate killing of a series You can do a lot of archaeology on them and try to theorize what happened and what Yams was trying to say with them. The baby IS Eren's also.

PSA: If you're an AoT no Requiem reader, PLEASE READ Attack on Titan: Lost Girls! It is REQUIEM-CANON in some way! In 2022, AoT no Requiem said that a core project member came up with a genius solution for tying Lost Girls into the conclusion. Apparently this scene ties into it.

Things I believe about Attack on Titan, for the record: 1. Chapter 137-139 are non-canon and have substantial evidence of tampering. 2. Erehisu is (very much so) foreshadowed throughout the entirety of the manga starting at Uprising (though they do parallel in cadets)
