The project is on hold. My large printer seems to have caught a serious case of the fuckits. It has failed 75% of prints in the last month, wasting a fair amount of filament. So until I feel it has been fixed, or I replace the printer. Smolship project will be on hold.

People say bits ugly, but I do believe this design will improve the wear on the fwd flaps on re-entry. It just makes sense. Take them out of the line of fire just enough. We'll see how serious @elonmusk was about it, and how drastic the move of the fwd flaps are.

1 year ago, I sat at work, and waited for starship to go for the first time. It scrubbed, and at that moment I went straight to my boss and asked for the rest of the week off to make my way to south padre. It was a smart move.
