The revolution will not be televised but it will be a group effort. Everyone grab a bucket and help scoop some of this water out this sinking ship called white supremacy we’re stuck on so we can get outta here.
For me, I’m a licensed cosmetologist which lead me to my role in the revolution with beauty/ femininity/ and family. I teach and encourage our women how to embrace their natural hair and building strong families, that’s my passion.
Use what you’re knowledgeable about and passionate about, and apply that to your part in this. There are no right or wrong answers here, just find where you’re an asset and focus on that. Nobodies role is more or less important than the other.
There is no “competition” in the revolution there is room for us all to play an important part. It isn’t about shine, likes, or attention it’s about your being part of a bigger thing, contributing in your own way. As black people were so talented, and have so much to offer
If you’re a numbers/ investment person then you’re role is teaching and assisting your people will better money management, if you’re a PT Then you’re role is to teach your people how to stay in shape/ healthy. You see what I’m doing here.
Nobody is hitting ALL components of the revolution so it’s important to work together to make this change. Find what you’re good at/ passionate about and apply that as your role in the revolution. Everyone has a part they can play doing SOMETHING.
The revolution is made up of a few different components. The Revolution includes our diet, marriages/gender roles/family, finances, entrepreneurship, spirituality, and ownership.
Just because I have a baby on the way, doesn’t mean I’m in a relationship “Just because I have a baby on the way.. doesn’t mean I’m in a relationship”.
