I was at FB when they were spinning up Libra. I remember appealing to the court that we should be building an L2 on Ethereum-- that a scattered group of Plasma researchers were making such progress, and that a coordinated group of FB-funded builders could create something great.

@transmissions11 The argument isn't that the timestamp proves something is real, but that it supports the argument in a "hard" way. Similar to how my signature indicates my opt-in to a message in a much "harder" way than without, a verifiable timestamp does the same for a data's origin.
