Is the FA just trolling non-league #football by this point? As I've said previously, wiping the 2019-20 season from the records at steps 3-7 of the National League System was an act of vandalism. With each passing week, it looks worse too.

There are several people that encapsulate the heart, soul and spirit of @1874Northwich and Vicki is one of them. I never tire of telling people the secretary’s role is the most challenging in non-league footy, and she does it with patience, hard work, and no little skill.

10 years ago today I became Football Secretary @1874Northwich . As for all volunteers, it's been hard work, hours of effort but very rewarding too. Loved working with some of the best people. 'The boys' too 🥰 Credit to those closest for their patience & support 💚🖤

⚽️ | Ryan Mitchell's goal for @1874Northwich last night is his first since the opening afternoon of the 2018-19 campaign. The 31-year-old also ended a wait to start a match for the #nwcfl club that has lasted almost a year; November 23, 2019 to be exact. Good to see him back.

Thoroughly deserved, and the margin of victory might have been wider - a real collective effort. That's the first time this season that 1874 have recovered from 1-0 down to win a league game. Perfect timing, because it secures their status at step four for a third campaign.

Shout out for Ben Harrison who made his 300th appearance for @WittonAlbion yesterday. It's a sequence that started on August 30, 2010 when he was just 19...! Still an outstanding performer and leader in defence for the #Northwich club.

Surely he's a contender for player of the season? Has adapted to playing at a higher level better than most, and weighed in with his share of goals too. I love Joe's story; has recovered from serious injuries that would have finished the career of many others.

100 appearances ✅ @MikeKoral made it to this milestone for @WittonAlbion during yesterday's game. His debut was as a substitute during an #FACup tie at Runcorn Town on September 13, 2014. A striker back then, he's now one of the league's most accomplished full-backs.

Want to amplify this thread. Volunteers are organising these promotion play-offs games at short notice and the 'to-do' list is huge. The board at @RuncornLinnets deserve fullsome praise for how smoothly Tuesday's semi-final was run. But don't underestimate the work that took!

What I loved about Morris last night was his composure in the big moments. Yes, Linnets made defensive errors, but both finishes were emphatic - gave the goalkeeper zero chance. That's what settles play-offs ties. He's had a brilliant season.
