Last night I was at an event and was chatting w/ someone who’s also a software engineer. When they said they were looking for jobs, I tried to empathize and said “I hate doing interviews” To which they replied “it’s probably bc you suck at leetcode” 😐

Funny story I just remembered. A few years ago I was interviewing at both Stripe and Square. Scheduled tech screens on the same day. Told the Square interviewer “I’m excited to learn more about Stripe” Didn’t pass that tech screen lol

I don’t like to use Git. I prefer to burn my code to a DVD and send it via mail to my coworkers. You can’t work on the codebase until you get the DVD copy. No merge conflicts.

Tomorrow is my last day at @Intel . I’m so grateful for the past 4.5 years of growth, from startup through being acquired. I’ll be taking the next couple weeks to get outside and recharge. I’m excited to start a new role at @Square working on @CashApp in July!
