Re: @thehotelyear tour - good record, congrats for them in 2013 their singer hosted a house show for us in their hometown and handed me the donation $ frozen in an ice tray at the end of the night. I looked at them, very confused. they shrugged and said “cold hard cash”

I have a lot of feelings about this. Mostly “ehhhhh” and “¯\_(ツ)_/¯”. we’ve had a great year. our best headlining shows ever. went to a lotta new places. sold more records than we ever have & went through a pressing in a month or two. didn’t pay a dime for PR. so I’m good ✌️
