My wife asks me to come with her if she’s taking the bus because she doesn’t want to deal with catcalling or any other forms of harassment Not because she is weak or lacks courage - she’s one of the strongest women I know But because dealing with men who do this is exhausting

Su had her first dental cleanup (2nd visit to the dentist) She has a “vestibular hypersensitivity” - so when she tilts her head backwards, she loses balance; gets scared The kind dentist allowed her to watch my teeth being cleaned; constantly telling her what he is doing 1/n

we took Su to Havelock City a new mall with shiny floors, lotsa noise, people, etc bit of a sensory storm for her but she navigated through it she tethers to one of us and walks normally despite dealing with a lot of sensory input of varying proportions /1

Su turns 7 this weekend she can speak mimic some words she can spontaneously speak a few words she has difficulty in understanding the context of spoken sentences given all this, getting her verbal consent would not necessarily qualify as consent given / taken

these powercuts are a damn curse it's been a few months now and we still have multiple hours of powercuts i don't understand how anyone could cheer the govt on for the economy being stable 🚀 when the power supply is unstable 👎👎👎👎👎 🤷🏽
