I'm not convinced. If Minecraft added the creeper today, it would only spawn in one biome, their explosion blast would be far more limited, and it would drop something extremely specific and only has a few uses.

Microsoft needs to allow Minecraft more chances to take risks. They're too concerned about changing the game's brand. That's why the updates are so stale and maligned. They offer nothing of real substance and are isolated so they don't affect the gameplay in any big way.
