It is great sadness that we must announce the sudden death of one of our much loved players, Rizwan Jameel. Rizwan died suddenly last Friday on his 38th birthday. The results of a Post Mortem are awaited.

The U18s are in the South Manchester JCL Cup Final! They beat Didsbury last night by 29 runs with Ben Duckworth (32) and Carlos Wakefield (31) key to our 138-5, skipper Max Nicholson leading in fine style with a spell of 3-9. Well done team, the final is on Bank Holiday Monday.

The 1s capped off a memorable season on Saturday by beating Port Sunlight. Simon Normanton's 93, Franny Yates' 52 and Jordan Richards' 40 helped us post 293-7 before Max Bailey with four for and Alex Jones with three sealed our 15th win. A brilliant finish to a brilliant year!

We have organised all our 2nd hand kit in the store room to give away. Rather than sell it, we are asking for donations to @stockportmind - a local cause close to our heart whom we have also provided a guest sponsor space to on our new womens kit. #LonelinessAwarenessWeek

50 POINT SATURDAY!! The 1s won a thriller by 23 runs after scrapping their way to 161-9; Jordan Richards 42, Ned Bailey 34 and an important 22* from Oliver Ormerod. 5-20 from Alex Jones and fine team catching and fielding at clutch moments helped us to our fourth win in five!
