After tutoring at least 350 law students for the Ghana school of law entrance exams, and providing academic aid to a page of over 800 interested law students, I’ve decided to pioneer the Doe’s Law Exam Challenge. Law students will be assessed on IRAC with a winning award.
Let’s challenge him by saying;
“Hey!! That was 16 years ago. Come to 37 now and see. It’s an ultra modern hospital with several patient blocks. New facilities have been built. Your Dutch Citizenship won’t matter in respect of healthcare. We’re equal now.”
Can we??
Kofi owed Ama Ghc25,000 but he’s avoided her for a year. Ama’s lawyer told her to write a formal demand notice to him demanding Ghc 45,675 Cedis. Kofi for the first time responded stating that there’s a mistake as he admits the amount is GHC25,000. Lawyer has received evidence.
If a fraudster or criminal or corrupt politician speaks against PhD holders that one I’ll flow my mind. But a hardworking Ghanaian man, legitimately and proportionally paid for his labor in other man’s land is reaping the hardwork he’s done and I’m proud of him.
Fraud boy who dropped out of school flaunts his wealth. Gets serious fraud case with EOCO or tax evasion issue with GRA. Starts seeking for a lawyer (classmate who excelled).
Gets serious health issue. Starts seeking for medical expert (classmate who excelled)
The government can embarrass you but you’ll be quiet. Leaders can’t even explain why they’re granting contracts to one week old companies but no anger. A “washroom connoisseur” says his passport is better than PhD then bam! Hardcore collective anger from Ghanaians. Lol
I entered UG law school, 2016 September. NPP won the elections in Dec. Was I happy?? Yes. I didn’t vote though. I had started reading NPP Supreme Court cases like NPP v Ag, NPP v IGP, CIBA case etc “Wow NPP loves human rights and good governance”
That political party is a fraud!
I might probably oppress my kids 🤣. “When I was in UG law school I was getting so many As I begged the lecturers to put one B+ per semester to spice it up😔”
Do the DNA tests. Ghana has a baby switching cartel. There will be a documentary on it soon.
Even as a mum if you gave birth and sometimes feel this baby isn’t yours, do the DNA test. Even if they tell the mum the baby just passed, or has become sickly, do a DNA test
It’s like Akuffo Addo is a spirit because people can hardly dare to post and say; “Nana Akuffo Addo why?”
Imagine Mahama had taxed you 4,200, there will be riots so you can’t claim Ghanaians don’t know how to criticize or blame the government directly.
Suddenly it’s MTN’s fault.
It’s interesting how those who study or practice family law can easily conclude from the word of this statement that Fella Makafui got legal advice fast and made the first brilliant move. He made the first wrong move by his publications and it goes downhill from there.
Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui, petitions the Director General of the Ghana Police Service to investigate her estranged husband, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, for disseminating false news about her which has put her life in danger.
A former president is saying here that it’s suspicious for someone to start working at customs and within 2 years he’s building a house. But here we are today, a minister with $1 million cash under her bed and see how people fought tooth and nail to claim its not unusual.
Throwback video of when the late President John Atta Mills angrily stormed the Tema Port unannounced and confronted the harbour security officers following Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ expose of corrupt practices at the harbour that deprives the nation of its needed revenue.
Hypothetically, if a “streetsmart” person insults and threatens a lawyer online, the lawyer can simply respond in the dms with “I and the entire ‘coalition’ of Gh Bar Association will come for you.” The streetsmart will cower and delete the post not knowing GBA won’t do foko.
If you compare the cost of living in Ghana to that of Kenya and you see why they’re protesting you’ll realize we should’ve done the protests when they still maintained Covid levy and introduced E-levy
Heartbreak can make a severe impact on a person and sometimes, for the better. This lady shredded me into several pieces romantically that the only way I could get myself together was to pull myself up academically. From Cs to As because of you “Annabel” 🫵🏾
Exactly my point. Egotistical, manipulative Annabelles. Ugsol 2017. Law library. If you pick one of Dr. Atupare’s tort casebook, you’ll still see my tears imprinted there. Heartbreak will give you an opportunity to prove yourself and I won Miss M. I won.
Pick Presec Legon or Wesley Girls
Gather 300 boys/girls from 2000-2015 who were the best in their classes.
Gather 300 boys/girls from 2000-2015 who who dropped out for (solely) academic reasons.
The result will speak for themselves.
See I’ve been there before. Spending on a spartan. It’s a phase young men must go through to see how ridiculously absurd it is, to see how it is the assured path to poverty. Let me advise you, go through that phase, learn it well for yourself and you’ll be a man.
In Ghana we inherit citizenship and then political party. You can actually have a brutal fight with your family over politics. Also it is very hard for most youth to persuade your parents to see the “light”. We will always have 48%-51% results because the loyalists won’t change

1. You’re a patriot of NPP not of Ghana
2. You’ve benefited or intend to benefit from the NPP
3. You’ve felt the affliction caused by poor governance but your pride is that you’re loyal.
4. You can’t weigh any other options. You know 30 years from now you’ll vote NPP
Sad
Bro, you didn’t understand the English and said if anyone needs a doctor it’s my “mother” and came to my dm to insult and issue threats. I explained that you didn’t barb the English. I then mentioned the names of those you’re insulting then you immediately folded and apologized.
Let’s address this.
1. The minimum age for marriage under the Children’s Act irrespective of custom is 18 years.
2. Customary law is Part of the Laws in Ghana and must be recognized as such.
3. However the customary law or practice must not breach a statute (Art 11) or its void
Elders of Nungua react to public outrage over customary marriage to 12-year-old girl. Speaking on behalf of the Gborbu Wulormor, the Mankralo of Nungua, Nii Bortey Kofi Frankwa II said persons calling for the intervention of the Gender Ministry are talking out of ignorance as the
Lmao and you’ll think Ghanaians are profiting from this but unfortunately 80% of sugar import into Ghana is by Lebanese🤣. Inside story suggests they frustrate anyone entering into the sugar import business.
Foreigners are here enjoying the fruit of billions of Cedis
Import on Sugar cost Ghana some 1.67 billion cedis in 2023. The said amount is 3 times what government used to revamp the Komenda Sugar factory.

I now know why PhD holders were pained because I’m just sitting somewhere with my wife sipping wine only to hear that lawyers too have received their shade 😂
In just a statement to the police she’s shown;
1. She’s the mother with the child in the house and he’s barely there
2. She contributed to the finances of the house
3. She can’t live with him anymore because of his exposure
Sharp move applying article 22 of the constitution
Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui, petitions the Director General of the Ghana Police Service to investigate her estranged husband, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, for disseminating false news about her which has put her life in danger.
One day we will plead for $1-Ghc15
because we will soon be battling $1-22 Cedis irrespective of the government. We had the chance to tackle the fundamentals once and for all when $1 -Ghc5. Now the fundamentals have shriveled. We can’t even hope for $1-11 Cedis ever again. Sad.
The western regional minister is also there in yellow.
Again if any other person said this he will be called in for questioning by now and we all know it. But his patriots will find ways and means to defend him. One party always gets away with the most ridiculous scandals.

I appreciate how Ghanaians in this electoral season are getting fully conscious of the fact that the only way the government had power over us was to control the media. Watch the media closely, who they meet in close doors, how they disseminate the information.
Vice President Bawumia is the second in command under Article 57(2) of the Constitution and holds precedence over the Speaker of Parliament and the Chief Justice. He’s not affiliated with the current government. He’s the current government. He’s the Neck holding the head (Prez).
Considering his affiliation with the current government - do you trust Dr.
@MBawumia
to do the things he has promised to abolish?

Someone has sued you for defamation and you had to publicly apologize to avoid the suit and settle the matter. You will also pay his legal fees (the cost of him contracting a lawyer to sue you). You’ve incurred a debt so how have you framed it like you’re doing him a favor?😂
Excellent.
Now, you can direct your lawyers to forward their details so YOUR legal fees will be settled for you.
This episode should be a cautionary tale to all online bullies: if you come at some of us, you best not miss. We will happily take your suits, and pay your legal
Whatever Bawumia says, news agencies fact check and call it an outright or partial lie.
Whatever promise or policy he proposes, the respective unions straight out call him an outright scammer. It’s really tarnishing the integrity of the office of the Vice President. Hmm
First the gov said it only contained mosquito nets but due to public outcry they allocated funding to clear the goods. Now a celebrity’s wife suddenly starts explaining to us how Ghana couldn’t clear goods over a year because a French billionaire has majority stake in the port.
The failure of the state to clear the essential medicine donated by Global Funds for close to 8months has NOTHING to do with concession agreement on the ports
This deflection and pivoting is stopping us from demanding accountability from those in charge of clearing the goods
There’s really a strategy to studying constitutional law and I’ll like to share it in this law thread.
It’s the study guide approach I developed over time and experience.
When a lecturer introduces you to constitutional law he has case list as reference.
Provide the “Why”.
I personally know 5 persons who studied Chinese in UG and have been doing interpretation for businesses, embassies etc. Unless they claim these people don’t offer their services then that’s understandable but Chinese interpreters are not rare.

Corruption Scandals have become such a normalized regular practice in the last 8 years that before June ends, there will be at least 3 corruption scandals. Then you’ll wonder why people fight tooth and nails to defend the wrongs done? They’ve benefited directly from it.
A solid brand built on deeply ingrained proper manners mixed with pure humor. This is what large earning food businesses want their brand to represent... unlike the Abena Keith Lee trending.
@mumuni1st
That’s what we must address. Imagine being a PhD holder and you’re sleeping on bare floor at the hospital as if sickness is a crime. Well we don’t even need to imagine. Go check the elderly struggling at these hospitals, most of them are teachers, professionals, academicians
Joined twitter August 2022, (less than 2 years), expressed my opinions controversially, intellectually and defensively. I post, I mute and go about my day. Only one person has ever discourteously dm’d to insult. After the backlash, the record is the same. Only one.
I’ve created a folder; “Constitutional law snippets”. I’ll upload short recordings explaining the basic tenets, concepts, precedents and relevant provisions underlying the constitution.
I really think is useful so please promote it. Thanks 💙.
I started my entrance exams tutorials with a number of students and I just realized whilst teaching that the lectures are so detailed that anyone can have a detailed understanding of constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, legal system, tort law and land law.
To the new lawyers
How to attract clients?
GLC frowns upon direct advertisement but not the freedom of expression.
The Esq. Title already gives you a credible platform.
Express your opinion consistently on matters of the law: Twitter, Facebook posts, blogs, talk shows etc.
An invitation by the police is not an arrest. A policeman cannot invite you to the police station for questioning and thereupon lock you up simply because the complainant insists on the arrest and the police wants to satisfy the complaint. That’s unlawful arrest and you can sue.
20 civil suits you can bring against someone in Ghana for compensation (damages);
1.Breach of contract
2.Assault
3.Battery
4.Unlawful arrest
5.False imprisonment
6.Malicious prosecution
7.Nuisance
Enjoyed Primary, jhs and shs. Academic excellence all through. Relentless in uni. Called to the bar. Practicing with fam. Parents still closely bonded in marriage. Two younger brothers are marvelous. Best profession and the most beautiful woman in the world too. God 🥹💙
In law school, everyone can be comrades just studying together, gisting each other, having fun etc. It’s after the Call to the Bar, that A. is still searching for pupillage yet B. her chilling law comrade is a 4th Generation lawyer with a permanent spot in a reputable firm.
So I’ve started briefing all relevant constitutional law cases for the benefit of students. I’m moving to 4 cases per day hence at least 200 cases briefed in the next 50 days. If you’re interested in constitutional law I’ll share the links for you to access the briefs for free.
If Kofi does fraud for a couple of years and bags $100,000 and pushes the money into a chain of shops or a restaurant etc, Kofi is an investor not a businessman. A youth business summit shouldn’t have “investors” but actual businessmen. What do you think?
Mother + child + constitutional access to property + property in her name
Vrs
Artiste + publicly speaking of his wealth and investments + indirect conditional threats (if not I’m a gentleman, you would’ve been beaten) + barely in the house (has other places)
Who wins?
Fella’s name is included in the Land that the house is built on. Asem no ayɛ kɛse
I pray they solve their issues. Medikal should be quiet for now I think 🤔
That’s why I despise lawyers with low self esteem honestly. Senior you’re smart! You worked hard for that wig! Your title is learned. My dad said in those days when lawyers pick troskis to work, no one looked down on them. Every civilian knew it’s just a matter of time.
@mab_ruk1
The flex is not hiring a lawyer. The flex is that the lawyer was smart in school, got the qualifications to decide whether or not you’re worth his time to take your case. The lawyer doesn’t need you. You need his services. It’s you who’s working so hard to afford him.

Breaking down the authorities on CONSTITUTIONALISM IN GHANA.
It’s a long thread and I’ll be doing this everyday so I hope you learn something and share.
CONSTITUTIONALISM refers to the limitations, restrictions and restraints placed on the exercise of governmental powers.
I have mentees who passed the Bar exams and some who didn’t pass
I have mentees who passed the Entrance exams released just now and some who unfortunately didn’t make it.
It is a very weird mix of emotions. But in all things Thank God!!!
Right to demonstrate (NPP v IGP)
Freedom to express contrary opinion (NPP v GBC)
Right and responsibility to resist oppression. (NPP v AG)
Freedom of association (NPP V AG - CIBA case)
NPP fought for us but the tables have turned right before our eyes.

My seniors recommend four solid books;
1. The Client Centered Law Firm by Jack Newton.
2. The Game Changing Attorney by Michael Mogill
3. The Tools of Argument by Joel Trachtman
4. The Happy Lawyer by Nancy Levitt.
You can dm for soft copies.
One day Ghana will get here. Positively speaking, people will be genuinely tired one day.
Ghanaians are equally brave. We’ve just not reached this level of protest.
1. A police invitation is not an arrest. You can refuse on reasonable grounds.
Article 14 of the constitution
Asante v the republic case
2. However if the police inform you that there are certain charges leveled against you and you’re being arrested, you shouldn’t resist.
Video of Medikal refusing to accompany the Police Officers who came to pick him up. According to him, he respects them and the fact that they’re doing their job but he has no knowledge of being reported for disseminating false news.
Ghanaians with basic high school knowledge understand that it’s not every agreement that is enforceable. Some agreements are illegal such as an agreement to kill or procure sex. Replace the high pedestal of a judge with a jhs student. “If I were a jhs girl…” is understandable.
If I were the judge in charge of the case involving the side chick and the bank manager, I would have awarded her whatever her demands were because an agreement is a contract -

To the new lawyers
Reality will hit you hard
Very hard
Have a support system.
It’s only a fraudulent lawyer that can win 26 cases in a row.
Ghana’s Justice System isn’t the television show Suits.
If you’re wondering why death sentence is being imposed though Parliament “struck” it out..
Parliament amended the Criminal Act 29 to remove the death sentence.
However High Treason is an offense under the 1992 Constitution which is superior to the constitution.
Ghanaians are not timid people but we know what the political parties did. The energy for Ghanaians to voice out collectively was split between two groups. Now the brave ones voice out and they’re oppressed by others who intentionally voice out the opposite for their own gain
If you’re a law student or law enthusiast follow me and I’ll follow back as there will be a lot of mentorship interactions in the dms. I’ve decided to be most active here nowadays to mentor people.
Honestly I believe this year I should really be deliberate about helping every new law student in this country in one way or the other. My mentorship must reach you.

How to be a successful law student.
1. Constitutional law.
To understand the theoretical underpinnings of constitutional law it’s best to rely on constitutional law textbooks and articles referred to in the course outlines.
Ghanaian constitutional law cases are a must read.
I got 50% in a paper, they whooped me. Years pass and the last born gets 50% in the same subject and my parents say;
“Oh he did his best. Half isn’t bad.”
I whooped the boy for them. Equal treatment charle.
New lawyers;
You’ll work on something that is relatively easy to do; simple contract review etc but the remuneration is so massive you might think you’re actually cheating the client. Understand that the work is easy because of the skills you honed over years. You deserve it.
If you’re a student, focus on getting good grades and researching good LLM options. Joining LLM seminars etc. Get your LLB. Don’t bother with GSL, apply for your Masters. Leave. Ghana school of law and pupillage is an almost three year investment that isn’t worth it.
If the People of Ghana were able to peg the minimum age of the President at 40 years and an MP at 25 years. Then we can peg the maximum age at 70 years (at the time of filing nominations) for both.
We can also peg the max number of Ministers in this country at 30.
If you’re in first year of law school, it means you have 3-4 years to get your LLB. You have a bit of time to prepare to write the Ghana School of Law Entrance Exams. The Professional Course in the Ghana School of Law is 2 years.
Can I be your mentor for 5 years? DM. I’ll reply.
@garyalsmith
“We will happily take your suits and pay your legal fees”
The loser is the one who pays the legal fees of the other party bro. It’s not a favor. It’s debt you’ve incurred because someone has a claim against you. So the cautionary tale is that you’ll be incurring debt?
Wanted a content creator to help me with a law shoot. I entered the dm:

Really sad when you’re making a new friend, texting her regularly and checking up as she’s really cool. Then after two weeks she needs 2000 cedis urgently and you’re the only person in this entire world she can rely on. But something is telling you, this is premeditated format.
The system works in Ghana when the two leading political parties have a mutual interest. Once the ruling government and opposing party agree that the new force should be eliminated, trust me the laws in Ghana will work. Their leader will be arrested for tax evasion soon.
The new force hasn’t even revealed his identity and they’ve deported their spokesperson. Whoever the new force is better not have any legal blemish or illegalities somewhere. Even Ghana card kraaa he should make sure he has done it 😂
Imagine a law firm with 3 young lawyers
Ghc 8000 each, that’s 24k total monthly (288k for a year)

Office space and admin 20k monthly (240k yearly)
Total —744,000 yearly. Respect 🫡
First 7 constitutional law cases
1. Supreme Court Constitutional Law Decisions
2. Full cases read and properly briefed
3. No AI or basic summary (proper briefs for students, lawyers, public)
3. Editor’s note
4. 5 cases a day for the next 40 days.
So I’ve started briefing all relevant constitutional law cases for the benefit of students. I’m moving to 4 cases per day hence at least 200 cases briefed in the next 50 days. If you’re interested in constitutional law I’ll share the links for you to access the briefs for free.
