This is the first Ramadan where I've been able to intuit a significant chunk of the meaning in each rak'at of taraweeh. It's not exactly fluent, and there's a lot I don't grasp, so revising the translation helps, but my level of focus and connection has skyrocketed. /1

Remember to safeguard your night through night dhikr: surah Mulk, last 2 ayat of Surah Baqarah, 100 salawat (at least), 4 Fatihas, 3 Quls 3 times each, ayat al kursi, sleeping on your right side, putting away your devices and away from you.

Most Muslims who are religious even at a surface level know this is haram, but very few members of a given community are willing to prevent and condemn it when it happens 'for the sake of the community'. Its time a 'navigating differences'-esque statement is made.
