Here is how the user allocation went for participants in the Ekubo leaderboard **414** of the top 1000 Ekubo users got 0 STRK. These are all active, productive individual users of Starknet, because there is no reason to sybil the Ekubo leaderboard.

The user allocation was similar to Arbitrum's, but lacking in diligence to filter out sybil farmers, and stricter in arbitrary ways. I don't know how many real humans use Starknet but last week Ekubo had 57k site visits and there are 500k addresses in the user allocation.

I spent a few hours yesterday writing a query to get all accounts with Ekubo positions of value >$10 as of the snapshot. After filtering for users not in the initial airdrop, I found 9991 addresses that received 0 STRK and had positions of value >$10 at time of snapshot.

Gas is not the number one thing to optimize for a DEX. It's pricing net of gas. Sometimes you sacrifice a little gas for DevX or UX because it leads to better pricing. Takes a little experience to know when, but usually you shouldn't compromise on DevX/UX to save O(100) gas.

sstore and sload could have fixed gas prices and no cache. transient storage can be used for caching and avoiding writes. moving it up a layer is good, it means the application can tune exactly what should be cached and what shouldnt. ie nodes no longer have to cache every sload

The optimizations will continue until morale improves. We are prepping for mainnet launch in the next weeks. Every line of code has to be written, tested, and rewritten until we know it's both efficient and correct. No stone unturned searching for bugs and improvements.

what's the best way to manage a private key without leaking an address/ip association? clef doesn't have a cli for just signing raw transaction data. clef-ui seems unmaintained. mycrypto immediately sends it to infura or other rpc provider. cast requires an etherscan api key.

Why would it be free and valueless when it gives you access to compute and storage of a network of validators? It should be way cheaper than mainnet ETH, given the reduced security, but the rational price is not zero Market dumping your goerli ETH is the best way to distribute it

@0xfoobar they're not wrong that testnet eth should be free and valueless but if it were actually easy to obtain, then there'd be no market for it in the first place
