Respected FM @nsitharaman Hope u consider reducing taxes on Dialysis consumables this budget. It's a life saving, lifelong treatment. All consumables attract high GST. Already expensive Dialysis is even more burden wt such high taxes. Please help us live wt a lesser burden 🙏

@dmuthuk TN is one of best in Healthcare like Kerala. I was registered for kidney transplant there. They make sure not to waste organs of brain dead person. Have seen transplant coordinator work 70+ hours to get patient frm haryana to fly to Chennai to get his transplant.

After my second surgery..the ortho had lost hope of my walking ever again. He had told my jija. Jija never told me. He always said seja you'll walk. Today is one week now that am able to walk. Though with walker. Thanks to my jij.. He had faith. And my physio Krishna.

Injection for bone density.. Densumab.. Is for 20k per shot. One needs to repeat this every 6 months. We reached out to the company n got it for 12k. And dialysis pt gets it for 11k for evry next shot.

#CKD is cruel. Limited fluid intake all life. Most of us can't quench thirst to hearts content. Sometimes we drink a lot to feel good for a few seconds n throw up the fluid mins later. Take care of your kidneys. Water is life n if u are healthy drink enough water.

Dead tired after 3 days of dialysis. Ordered tiffin from a plc that's pocket friendly n clean. Wasn't hungry. Waited for nephew. He cld not stop gushing how tiffin has my favorite veg, tindola.. My favorite nephew fed me with his hands. Eyes well up. This boy is so loving.

So after 2 weeks of bland food.. Khichdis..N boiled veges...Now I'm craving masala and varieties. So jijaji has made idli sambhar.. For dinner. Lunch was chole n paratha. Though I'm taking few bites. Taking it slow with masalas though craving is crazy. (Not my plate)
