Sad to learn of death of the remarkable Canon A T Kerry Waterstone, former rector of Tullamore. In 1975 he founded the Ulster Project to take Catholic and Protestant teenagers to America away from the Troubles at the height of the marching season.
Robert Fisk was a journalist of rare courage, compassion and conviction. An independent thinker he never sought popularity and was not afraid to challenge powerful force;. his death is a blow to global journalism.
