Playing in his last game ever😭😭 in a Monarch uniform on Saturday November 11 vs. Pasadena College is WR/KR 𝐉𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐆𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐉𝐑. He goes into his last game with 100 catches, 1,270 yards, 8 TDs in his two-year career. I will miss this future LAVC Hall of Famer.

Former Monarchs RB 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐊 is officially gone. He left Los Angeles on July 29th to start the next chapter of his life as a student-athlete at Central Connecticut State University. His intended major may be in one of the behavioral sciences. Good luck to him.

Former Los Angeles Valley College SS/UT 𝑽𝑰𝑪𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑬 𝒁𝑬𝑷𝑬𝑫𝑨 will major in psychology with a minor in exercise science and wellness at Dakota Wesleyan University (SD). He also will be wearing the number 24 for DKU, a number he has worn for the past two seasons at LAVC.

Former LA Valley College DE/DT 𝑱𝑨𝑴𝑨𝑹 𝑾𝑨𝑳𝑲𝑬𝑹 (2022) will major in Biology at Savannah State University. According to U.S. News & World Report, Biology is one of the most popular majors at SSU. Good luck to him.

Monarchs DT 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗭 leads the entire Pacific League in forced fumbles with 3. Moreover, Perez ranks in the top 5 in the conference in tackles for loss with 5. For the last two games Perez has been a handful for centers and guards.

After catching 5 passes against Los Angeles Southwest College this past Thursday, WR 𝑱𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵 𝑾𝑨𝑮𝑵𝑬𝑹 𝑱𝑹. has now moved into 8th place in Monarchs football history in career receptions (81). He just passed WR 𝑱𝑨𝑴𝑬𝑺 𝑵𝑶𝑹𝑹𝑰𝑺 who had 78 catches from 2001-2002.

One of the things I always liked about him at CP was that when he was finished blocking in his own area, he was SERIOUS about seeking out other defenders to block away from his area. Former Monarchs FS/CB 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 will wear number 37 for the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff (UAPB). He is one of seven players on the 2022 UAPB roster that hail from California and he is the only player on their 81-man roster who is from Southern California.
