This is my favourite geological cutting. The history here is so fascinating and I love it. The Lewisian gneiss has been cut by two other rocks here, the black scourian dykes that intruded into the Lewissian Gniess 2.4 billion years ago which has also been cut by the granitic

Did a tell you that there was a geologist back in the day that would have nightmares about this sort of stuff 😅. Happy to announce that I’ve became an Ambassador of the north west highlands geopark working together to promote the beautiful geology of the North west highlands.
I don’t often go up munros… honestly my stamina is not the best, I’m very impatient and I get dirstracted by the rocks every single step I take so I’m relatively slow at doing them 😂. But this munro was lovely and I eventually started to really enjoy it thanks to my sister
