Yesterday, story broke about a fellow colleague who was humiliated for simply being a nurse trying to get coffee & a muffin. This morning I got up at 3 to bake lolo buns for nurses who come to work without their breakfast & nurses going off shift. Sprinkle kindness like confetti!

What broke my heart this morning was the fact that my colleague received the message of her mum’s passing from her brother & even though we agreed that she go home to be with her family, she insisted to stay on, because her leaving would mean we’d be short staffed. #Strength
