There have been so many nasty comments directed at Arden including to "stick to her knitting" & "part time PM" yet in 2.5 years what she's done for this country is immense. Muller was in his job 6 weeks & it seriously impacted his mental health. It shows you how strong the PM is.

We bought an old rental property that we have lived in for the last few years, oven broke during lockdown & cabinets fallen to pieces etc.Partner had a job end just before lockdown so in the last couple of weeks has rebuilt the kitchen. Came home from Chch to a kitchen. I cried.

Got a phone call from my daughter's school to check that I was vaccinated in order to be able to coach her polo team - they're bringing in their rules early around so coaches/volunteers etc are not able to coach unless they have at least one dose. I was pretty pleased to hear it.

At my business the QR codes are still up, spectators still need to be masked pool side even though pools don’t have to mask and vaccine passes are required. I think particularly the masking has helped us to keep our staff well, other pools it has ripped through their staff.

The WCC is looking at axing the free under 5's swimming at their facilities because it costs them $120k a year. Of all the things to cut it shouldn't be access to water! Schools in NZ are paying approximately $6000 a year for only 8 half-hour lessons per child, it's shocking.

My father had a discussion with my grandmother that she should get a tin hat since she won’t have the vaccine. My Aunty has now rung my father to ask what he meant about tin hats because my grandmother wants to know where she can get one from 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can’t even really process last night yet. First reports are things like Labour has to close the gap in relationship with business , after the resounding vote it might be that corporations have to get on board with the new direction NZ has chosen rather than the other way round.

I know that it was probably inevitable that we would move levels after all the lobbying & constant we must change level narrative. I just got my kid back to school after 5 weeks out & now no masks in class, I'm pretty cut up about it to be honest.

I’m so pleased that Luxon is able to tell me the issues that I am focused on. Abortion/health care is not a distraction. I can be focused on multiple issues at once but right now his response to abortion after the Supreme Court ruling is quite an issue for me.
