Possibly the most untrue statement of the year. Every sexual assault story is different. Some memories ‘blur’ and some simply don’t. For any kind of adult to say that to a victim is incredibly damaging. She chose to blur, consider why she did that instead.
Massive pinch me moment! Here’s a story of mine that has now gone on
@BBCRadioLincs
and
@looknorthBBC
and is also a online digital vid. This was a huge goal of mine, I can’t quite believe it📺📻🎶
All filmed on an iPhone 📱
2022 has been one of the best years of my life. I got a job at the BBC, graduated with a first in Journalism, made a speech at the graduation then—hours later—I became an aunty!
Today I’ve been out and about for
@BBCRadioLincs

@LincsCOPter

Hear more from 8:20 tomorrow morning☀️…

Amazing to be the lead reporter on this story & to be the one asking the questions😊👩🏻💻🎙

Bit of a wild story to have worked on today… a community duck which is thought to have been stolen in Lincoln.🦆
Made a TV piece, radio news & an online article 📻🎙️📰
At a time when the world has felt a pretty grim place it has been a lot of fun to work on the Walt Disney in Norton Disney, Lincolnshire story. And lovely to see that it is the most read story on the BBC News website.
