Things I’ve learned about Endometriosis from Experience: • Doctors say it takes about 4-6 weeks to recover (heal) from the Laparoscopy but it usually takes longer. • If you are having the Laparoscopy ask the doctor what areas they are capable of removing endometriosis from.

• Endometriosis can grow on the Cervix. • If you smoke or drink consider quitting if you have endometriosis. (smoking and drinking can cause inflammation in the body therefore worsening endometriosis symptoms.)

Endometriosis, menorrhagia, adenomyosis and other health similar health issues the only way to make it better is not to have a period , which bc is used for to control that. I think it’s great if you have normal periods and no pain to not use birth control. But

@RealCandaceO Yes, some birth control side effects are not pleasant and different birth controls can effect each woman differently side effect wise but some women need birth control to stop us from having periods because we have endometriosis and that is one of the very few treatments for us.

@MaK_Warrioress_ @BlckRoseDGuerre Crazy reading this thread , last time I was in the hospital they gave me morphine , it didn’t help only made me feel weird af then it’s worse when it wears off. Lortab and Flexeril is the only things besides Advil that’s actually helped the pain for me.
