When I was 19 I DM’d @katienolan asking if I could job shadow her for an assignment. I spent 4 days with the team at Garbage Time & was in awe of her and the teams talent, knowledge, & work ethic. She never even had to reply to me, but she did, & that’s why she’s different.

In my personal experience, I had to decline 2 internships because they were unpaid, one of which excepted “40-60 hour weeks” making it next to impossible to handle a part time job on top of it. I’m so sick of the media industry telling students this is “what you have to do”

In January 2016 I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Jan 2017- I thought I was fine. Jan 2018- I thought I was great. Jan 2019- I thought I was cured. Jan 2020- I had symptoms for the first time in 4 years. Mental health is an ongoing fight. #BellLetsTalk
