What a wonderful day! After 23 years in @RoyalAirForce my parents got to see me march up the steps at RAFC Cranwell yesterday. Reading the scroll for the Commissioned Warrant Officers Course 24 at midnight last night was an honour I won’t forget. 🍾🍾

Home and slept after an incredible 3 weeks. Aeromed and CCAST - supporting Turkey in the weeks after the earthquake to move patients to the facilities they needed around the country. I’m def not a natural Ops Officer, but this team did everything that was asked and more!

Modern UK mil today think it is OK to celebrate their sexuality during work time. Slow march through the institutions and everyone who allows LGBTQ+ flags to fly on mil bases needs disciplining. 'Sovereign defence', not celebrating what you do behind closed doors - standards!

I’ve been trying to find the words to share my thoughts on what’s happened across the pond…. as a woman, a human, a nurse, a believer in democracy….. Without swearing… I just can’t find them. This will not stop abortions, it will stop patient safety. Utterly Shameful.

At the end of a long few days - time to reflect - I had some direct feedback earlier in the week on my performance in a mixed group; ‘you are just not quite like the others’ Whatever Normal is - whatever others are....... I’m at my best being authentically me.

Loved loved loved having my little sidekick in the office with me today. Slightly worried the Sqn would have preferred him as the new starter instead of me tbh. There was definitely more visitors to the Flt Cdrs Office than usual. 🐶🐶

@adroitsurgical @jducanto I hope they didn’t pass the course/ serial if they chose to attempt intubation in that position and scenario. There is no reason to take that risk and not really something to encourage in a Trg environment

Reflecting on my first week of the course. Whilst there I was privileged to be able to watch #RAFSuperGrad . After the previous years of the 22Gp role it really was wonderful to be surrounded by the families of those graduating. Well done EVERYONE involved. What a week! 👏👏
