Today we tested AdventistGPT for the first time. It contains the equivalent of 20 books of solid Adventist content running on GPT4.
On the most part, it is like talking to a knowledgeable pastor who is brilliant at content creation. Very impressive for a first prototype.
Nenhum líder ou influenciador, por mais popular que seja, tem o poder de posicionar a Igreja Adventista.
A Igreja Adventista em qualquer região so mundo só se posiciona quando os representantes votam, e nem um segundo antes.
Adventists have a love/hate relationship with art (music, movies, paintings, architecture, sculptures, etc). One the one hand we want to use it all to proclaim the gospel. On the other hand, we demonize worldly art because we fear being influenced by the enemy.
I’d like to follow every Adventist pastor on Twitter (in any language).
If you are one, let me know here.
If you know one, please tag them here if you can.
If the

It’s all about the timeframe of their love.
When a church only has a short-term love, you’ll be accepted as you are and they won’t share passages of scripture that will upset

Maybe.
A very long thread 🧵
This Sabbath I want to celebrate our
@adventistchurch
social media team. I’m often asked who is responsible and what does it take to run all these global channels. So here is a long summary of this large operation that involves over 100 people.
Let’s start with the why.
Do you need images in your sermons? Here you can find images, music, scripts and other materials, all copyrighted for Adventists to use. FREE.

Another Sunday keeping church turns Adventist after discovering the Sabbath truth for themselves
JESUS bade us "Search the scriptures..." {John 5:39}
Like the Bereans,search the scriptures for yourself {Acts 17:11}
"Study to shew thyself approved unto GOD... {2 Timothy 2:15}
Today I’ll be preaching at the

of the Asia-Pacific University Church in Thailand. We have a family everywhere in the world. This spiritual reality is indescribable ❤️❤️❤️
Adventists are so keen to restore God’s character that many have become brand ambassadors who are rebuilding a socially desirable god that doesn’t reflect the one you find in the entirety of the Bible. 🤔
35 years ago my dad and I attended a Church program dedicated to demonizing the cinema (literally). As soon as we left, my dad took me to the cinema to watch a kids comedy movie. I was scared the angels left us at the door and demons awaited us.

After listening to a GOOD preacher people go home thinking about the preacher and how inspiring and powerful the speaker was.
After listening to a GREAT preacher, people go home thinking about themselves and how much God loves them.
Pastors,
#PreachTheWord
this Sabbath.
3,000 people baptized after one sermon preached by a former fisherman?
Make no mistake, the power of that sermon wasn’t on the words Peter preached.
The power came from the Spirit now living within him.
The Great Controversy project might cost $1 billion + 8 million trees. Is it worth mobilizing ourselves to distribute 1 billion copies or is the cost too high? Is this the best book to share? Is there a better method?
Let’s talk. Start at

When a

is called to a new local church they go through 3 phases:
1) “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
2) “By whose authority is he doing these things?”
3) “Crucify him! Crucify him!”
Some things are certain, especially the first 2 chapters of Genesis and the last 2 chapters of Revelation. Everything in between is a struggle.
Our main struggle is to accept that God is God and we are not.
The second struggle is to believe God loves us despite our struggles.
Almost 2 years to the day, Brazilians never fail to copy the USA, just louder.

I have been reading The Great Controversy by Ellen White. While I am not completely through the book I have found it to be enlightening & informative.
I have poured over Scripture & have compiled a list of discrepancies between the book & the Bible so far.
The list is as
ChatGPT update. We’ve been experimenting with a new content creation workflow.
1. First, our writers paste content from to teach AI the Adventist view on a given topic (ex: Sabbath)
2. Then we prompt it to create content based on that article. So far it’s
Imagine you wake up to $86,400 in your bank account every day. But every night your account goes back to $0. What would you do with the money? Spend every dollar in the best way you can before you go to bed, right?
You are given 86,400 seconds every day.
Don’t waste it.
To my surprise, some of the most vocal critics of the

Pastors, we’re no longer children. Art only becomes popular when it resonates with some human instinct, desire or pain. I hope you’re mature enough to engage with art beyond entertainment. You can truly understand your congregation by thinking deeply about the art they consume.

Could someone explain to me why Christmas is such a contentious subject on the
@adventistchurch
world channels?
Every year we go through this.
While the world celebrates the birth of Jesus, some Adventists (mostly f/ North America) are certain any pine tree is pagan worship.
Our mission is to tell the truth to a world in love with lies. It will not be easy. It will not be popular. Only love will compel us toward it, not marketing techniques.
A packed house here in Silver Spring. We are kicking off Annual Council where world church leaders come from almost every country on Earth. I’ll be adding my own commentary to this thread over the next few days.

In 2023 let’s stop bubble wrapping our schools and churches to avoid upsetting the fragile hearts and minds of our youth.
We should love them enough to confront their wrong views of the world and make them stronger by facing the truth as presented by Jesus.
@KonstantinKisin
Sometimes I wonder if we are, in fact, living in parallel universes or at least some kind of Tower of Babel experience. The unbelievable misalignment of morality between them is a poisonous fruit of our postmodern tree. We have all been poisoned, one way or another.
Even people like Elon can see this. Christianity has always been one generation away from dying. But it won’t. Not least because there is always a remnant who refuses to be silenced.
I've been invited to teach visual arts development for video games.

I have found the best way to get an introvert’s opinion is to listen intently to their body language as you express different ideias to them. Then silence. As long as it takes. In extreme cases, it will take a few minutes but they always talk and what they say is usually amazing.

Obviously this isn’t a popular idea in Adventism, but what song, movie, book would you recommend for pastors who need better insights into the human experience?

Ex: “Love the way you lie”, can give you more insights about domestic violence than many books. Are you spiritually mature enough to enter this vile and worldly space to feel the pain described the artists and the millions who experience it? Jesus did. We should too.

Pastoral ministry is a calling that comes with immense joy, but also significant hardship. Pastors carry the burdens of their congregation, work long hours, and often face criticism. This Sabbath, let's show our appreciation for those who selflessly serve.

Friends, my online pastoral care shift is about to begin. There are 1,900+ prayer requests on our world church channels from TW, FB, IG, and TikTok. Pray for me as I pray for the broken who need God's help tonight. I'll update this thread as we pray and respond.
Pastor, the more intelligent and extroverted you are, the more tempted you’ll be to use SARCASM.
Avoid it at all costs.
1) sarcasm will lead you to
2) cynicism. Then
3) resentment. Finally, you’ll experience
4) contempt just before the death of your ministry.
Don’t do it 🤔
