@ParveenKaswan @fatima_sherine Eurasian Lynx. Very disappointed by seeing a group of feral dogs around it. They don't let the wildlife breath in peace. There should be something done to reduce the number of feral dogs especially in Wildlife sensetive regions and regions with rare animals.

@ParveenKaswan 1. Build shelters 2. Encourage adoption of Stray dogs 3. Make buying a foreign breed dog as tough as possible. Burden it with taxes and paperwork. Might as well ban few breeds that are difficult to train 4. Sterilization programs. 5. Support NGOs that look after the strays dogs

@ParveenKaswan These NGOs take up the sick and injured dogs, make them well and make sure that they get adopted rather than being back on the streets. Government alone cannot completely eradicate the strays, they need the help of the citizens as well. 6. NGOs and shelters can be linked.

@ParveenKaswan Claw marks are visible so definitely a dog family member. (Not Hyena as well.) Small size tells me jackal or dhole. And since Jackals don't travel in groups, it is in my opinion the pugmark of Indian wild dogs or Dholes.

@PraveenIN12345 @ParveenKaswan Pandas are even unfit to survive in the forest of China let alone the Jungles of India. They don't have any adaptation to protect themselves from predation. In China also, there are hardly any wild Pandas, most of them are in enclosures and are taken care of by the caretakers.

@ParveenKaswan Asian Golden cat. Tail length clarifies that it is definitely not a caracal. Golden cats are known to have various different colour morphs ranging from black to brown and golden.

@DailySnailies It was in my garden, the area is always moist (sometimes water may stay on the soil surface for 5-10 minutes) but there is no such water body around the area.

After some hiccups, electric fencing work has started again in Gandhi Sagar WLS. After fencing, work will begin on habitat restoration, water availability and prey augmentation. 8 cheetahs from SA to arrive here by this year's end. 👉 #ProjectCheetah

Last surviving cub of Jwala (Siyaya) has now regained health. She is kept with her mother for few hours before taking her back to the hospital. This is done to regain the previous bonding. Will be soon released in her mother's care. #Kuno More details 👇
