The portion sizes. Not saying that everyone who is obese eats massive portions of food while in the dining hall, but the majority of overweight individuals I have eaten with have chosen carbohydrate heavy, large quantities of food.

Skinny people don't eat breakfast or lunch. Idk how else I can say this. I've managed to convince everyone in my life that my stomach hurts if I eat too early, and that I dislike breakfast foods. Which isn't a lie, but I can always get away with skipping breakfast because of this

An overweight girl I do theater with got an entire bowl of mini m&ms with her dinner tonight. That had to have been like 800 cals of just candy. These minor things seem unimportant at the time, but they really add up. She probably was hungry within an hour of eating too

Skinny people tend to not use as many condiments as overweight individuals, or won't use them at all. When I was overweight, I used to always need ketchup with foods such as fries. Now, on the infrequent occasion I omad them, I'll just eat them plain, or with a bit of salt.
