@justarandomdani Not sure who you’ve spoken to about medicine, but you might want to reach out to some different people. Most people I know, myself included, love medicine and can’t imagine doing anything else. Are there systemic problems that need fixing? Sure. But we’re not all miserable.

@TheBlondeRN Patient population is largely the same for both (trauma, degen, deformity). Anything intradural is nsgy only. Ortho has historically handled most peds scoli/spine, but this is slowly changing. Referral patterns largely depend on region and hospital system
