No one believes me when I tell them this place is so far behind technology wise, the fact that fax machines are still widely used and all this paperwork that could be moved online or streamlined but no, they see a vid on YT about ~weird japan~ gadgets in Akiba once and go off
Further blessings have come~ and the stars and heavens have aligned♪ 🐻さん and I are patiently awaiting our own baby rabbit of the moon🐇
Every day, I find myself having more and more gratitude for my husband and little life♡
Ever since I was little I wanted to be a bride and a cute housewife and live in Japan...and I am so thankful that I am living my dream with a wonderful loving husband ♡
When will people understand that not every single gaijin woman who is happy and living a good life in Japan is a some form of illegal sex worker with a sugar daddy, or worse?!
Some people have *such* envious and ugly souls. Be better not bitter. I hope they feel better soon.

Yes, exactly this. This manga did a really good job linking the themes of loyalty within these groups and how women involved in them thought- and the maturation of these women (ie Tohru’s mother)
This is getting some attention and I want to say-
I can live here and enjoy my life as a resident here in Japan and still make critical observations on my life here. I am allowed to do this.

I continue to refine & develop my personal style by only wearing articles of clothing I truly love.
If I don’t feel like a romantic fairytale milkmaid heroine living in a cottage in the swiss alps who picks herbs & bakes bread for her family, then I don’t want to wear it

on the cover of August’s vogue on the way home! As a triple minority in Japan, it really brightened my day to see someone who looks like me during a regular degular konbini stop すごおお〜く嬉しいです♡
I would like to see this generation of mothers on social media break free from the ‘lol i hate my kid and motherhood’ shackles for internet clout. Just saw a video of a mom serving her child nuggets that said ‘You p**s me off’ and I’m all hurt on behalf of that poor baby 😭☹️
My first time wearing lolita this Fall season&while pregnant ♡ I was 17 weeks, &had fun coordinating this outfit for my girls date this weekend. I’m wearing all these soft, fluffy layers so I&my little bump felt warm&cozy all day, despite the recent drop in temperature&rain.
Probably one of the worse purikura machines for black girlies EVER🧍🏾♀️💀 not even some cute rakugaki stickers its all facial editing and makeup. Me looking unrecognizable and super whitened like its the worst ive ever seen before omigosh

🤍 Our Story- How I told my husband about the sex of our baby🤍
🐻さん left for OCS when I was 15 weeks&we spent about 4 months apart with very limited communication (no cell or email, just letters&5min 📞🥲 )
This was a very special phone call ♡

🤍Even though COVID restrictions and precautions have completely changed a lot of our plans this year, I was able to spend a wonderful birthday dinner with my husband~
I am so excited to start this new decade of my life~
💌My interview with

ejapantimes has been published! I am so thankful to the Japan Times and

for this honest insight into our lives and experiences as black women living in Japan ♡ 💌
Saw a black family at sapporo eki and I smiled at them and they glared at me or pretended not to see me 🥲 I just get happy when I see other kokujin I swear I’m not trying to chat you up or something 😭
I am so excited to be a wife. I feel like it is my calling. I do not feel any trepidation, anxiety, or confusion on what my next steps to take will be. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and creating life giving spaces and memories for those I care about.
I was meant to be a wife ♡
Am I really shy and introverted or did I just get bullied and gaslighted a lot in my 20s by people in online jfashion and hobby communities that I thought were my friends 🥲

celebrated my first kupala night and midsummer ~
i made a floral wreath to wear in my hair to complement my blouse (it is ukranian style but very similar to urals style blouse!) &cooked a batch of blini for our midsummer feast! my husband said it tasted just like his mother’s🥰
