Apparently you can’t talk in a heads up pot in @WSOP events @WSOPTD @Kevmath - IMO this rule should be changed ASAP. Besides being a useful strategy, banter is fun for amateurs and pros alike and provides entertainment to those not in the hand. Make poker fun again!

Skipped Day 1B/1C of the WPT for a great reason. My mom was awarded the Order of Canada for her work in developing the anesthesiology program and introducing simulation training to Rwanda & Honduras. She’s the hardest worker I know and I’m an immensely proud son

Savage dealer today: guy shoves 4.5 bbs UTG, gets called by the BB. UTG has T8o, dealer nearly jumps out of her chair: “what are you doing?!” Every street she peers and re-checks the guy’s cards. On his way out the door “don’t do that next time!” 😂 😆

I'll always praise @WSOP when they get something right but the payout structure for the main is embarrassing. Jumping $415k from 10th to 9th & then $400k from 9th to 6th? Not to mention 2nd being almost half 1st. This wouldn't happen in any other tourney and it's a total gimmick

Payout structure is obviously a joke (1st to 2nd jump is the worst part but multiple things should be changed) but one thing people aren't talking about is the rake increase since the Gold year. 2006 was 9405+595, this year is 9300+700. Less $ per buy-in to spread around

Sourcing ideas for a small town in the US (ideally 10-100k population) with good food and drink scene, access to golf, water and hiking, and not overly hot summer weather. I know this is very specific. Whitefish, MT is a good model town but have been there

I’ve learned that diff ppl have very diff anxieties. Some of mine: - one on one elevator rides with fellow awkward elevator riders - having carry-on bag stored a few rows behind me - holding ppl up on golf course - left turns onto busy intersections with cars waiting behind
