I just saw the RS3 "roadmap" and I'm creasing. I feel bad for all the talented devs who are are not afforded the agency to produce impactful, inspired content. Instead, I imagine they have to contend with apathetic higher-ups who don't care an ounce for their game community.

I get the feeling that there won't be much of a high-level PvM community in a year or two In fact, distinguishing "high-level" gameplay will become close to impossible, due to the massive nerfs to skill expression, whilst providing no suitable replacements

As for the FSOA, we were expecting a big nerf across the board. With this in mind, I ended up testing it for 4 hours. After zooming in on my character over 90 times, under several different skyboxes, I can confirm that staff still looks like a big green chonky staff. 3/3

Chincend was arguably the most interesting ability interaction in the game. Most people reading this (including JMods) likely just know one way to use it, but it genuinely paved the way for some of the most interesting and well-thought out rotations ever. Was fun while it lasted

Grim pages aren't gonna go down any time soon because the current state of the game is so reliant on crits. Fsoa spec demands crits, smoke cloud buffs crits, hitcaps limit non-crits, tsunami/incend/meteor benefit from crits, deathspore arrows are designed around around crits...
