In early 90's, in prep for an internal Lotus wargaming offsite, I wrote a "fake memo" from billg to his troops, laying out strategy/actions to blunt Notes momentum. Someone thought it was real. It leaked. Provocative memos are essential mgmt tools, but you need to be careful.

I continue to believe that, ultimately, we may find that CPU virtualization is too risky an approach for the public cloud. Vast arrays of ARM/RISC-V cores with multicomputer message passing architectures may be our best endgame.

Does GDPR and the “right to be forgotten” give a citizen the right to request/destroy all sensor data from my owned/licensed products that results from my use? Nest? Cars? Harvesters? Performance data is quite hard to disentangle from that which discloses my private use patterns.

@marcoarment Beyond UX design, much of the displeasure can be attributed to certain architectural fundamentals that yield material ongoing burdens, such as a) pervasive shared DLLs vs contained APPs, b) pervasive registry magic, and c) lack of simple Unix underpinnings in a Linux server world
