Useful context here: the HP Smart online system isn't anti-theft, shown by the fact that they could print this page over USB or local network. The service lets you subscribe to ink on a monthly basis and print using email and mobile apps through their cloud service.
final fantasy xiv appeals to millenials because it gives them everything they wish they had in real life:
buying gorgeous clothing every month
transportation that doesn't break
jobs that pay money
the ability to drop dead whenever you want

For our FFXIV players you know about Dawntrail. The patch is very large so be sure nobody else is using the internet when you download it."

The fact that there's a steep cliff at a political border rather than a gradient, and there's no border closures or mitigation to account for the difference, tends to suggest something else is going on. Like statistical tampering.
"Yoshida said that referencing Berserk became a tried and true method for communicating a mood and style for some FF14 cutscenes. When words failed to convey what Yoshida was envisioning, he'd show the development team specific panels from the manga."

The Internet Archive does a lot of good work, but they shouldn't have pushed their luck with unlimited concurrent lending of scanned items. They could have helped strengthen a precedent that ebooks can be lent without permission with one physical copy per concurrent borrower.

omg i looked into this and this idea is actually very possible. it's not clickbait. dippin' dots actually offers cryogenic freezers for research and has established a nationwide high precision cold chain for their ice cream.

The tab system at bars is so annoying. I have to hand over my card, I always ask to pay and close, they bring over a receipt, I have to sign it, if the receipt is misplaced the tips are lost, slight risk of tips being mistyped.
Dutch Pass at Dutch Bros Coffee is so much faster.

Well. The trans man on testosterone could, potentially, get pregnant. Fertility is usually affected but it's still possible. The one that likes boys could end up dating and having sex with a trans man who gets pregnant.

. There are much more expensive music software programs, including AbIeton, Cubase and Native lnstruments plugins which download a permanent offline license to the computer. East West Composer Cloud downloads a 30 day license.

A big problem is that puberty, especially male puberty, is itself irreversible. Hormone blocker drugs are not permanently sterilizing and are reversible when used for a limited number of years.
16 years old should be old enough to provide informed consent for a medical decision.

Amazon helped establish this with the Kindle Lending Library, which authors hated for "devaluing" books, but couldn't really stop since Amazon bought one unique copy for every single borrower. They were willing to take that cost so they could normalize "ebook lending".

From someone who is pro-vaccine, the OSHA workaround seems legally dubious.
COVID isn't a workplace hazard - one that arises from the nature of a person's employment - but a risk generally present in the environment.
Accordingly, I am hoping the rule is blocked by the courts.

BING: there's a decent search result on the first page but it's buried between 19 completely irrelevant (tho not spam) search results and ads saying "sign up for microsoft rewards!" "make edge your default browser" "try bing ai assistant" "edge has coupons"

I remember someone saying it's a good thing libraries were invented a long time ago because today libraries would be called a radical socialist idea.

That's silly! Everyone who follows your Twitter knows you work as an action movie stunt extra for the studios. And the side job at the gym. Your gym. Like the one you own.

If Starbucks has a competent tech team and truly prioritizes customer experience over profit, this is a simple software fix.
Limit the number of total orders and remote orders in queue. Cafe customers are already there, so they have priority.
The order capacity needs to fit the amount of available labor.
Disney Parks caps orders per hour (using third-party software called DineTime). Remote orders will show progressively longer wait times, and eventually be cut off, as orders pile up. There is no infinite ordering.

Agree that the pay disparity is unfairly wide, but it's an economic decision by the studios to compete to hire the headline actors. They are brands unto themselves.
Same reason sports teams offer huge amounts for star players (there have been attempts to impose salary limits).

I'm glad the "recycled assets" people haven't found out about Final Fantasy XIV, the award winning MMO where copying the jobs, music, and even the races (from XI), isn't called "reusing the same FF formula over and over", it's called fanservice!

Not entirely accurate... I have seen somewhere that Pfizer sent 53 emails to the government of Brazil offering vaccines and Bolsonaro (President of Brazil) ignored them.
