Since the High-A classification began in 1990, the Detroit Tigers have never had all four of the minor league affiliates finish over .500 until this season. While Toledo's season is still not over, it is worth noting.

Fun fact: Hideo Nomo was the first Japanese pitcher to throw on Opening Day and it so happen to be in a Tigers uniform on April 3rd, 2000. Since finding Nomo in a Tigers uniform is rare, I found this start against Boston on May 21st. Remember Rich Becker in CF? I don’t.

🧵A few observations. Here’s Spencer Torkelson’s swing from today and back on May 26. His timing through the strikezone is different. It appears that his hand is dropping more in the zone/ shoulder is staying closed longer. The bat angle is far more even, not at an angle 1/2
