The AstraZeneca shots we have have expiry dates so they should be used by us for second shots and/or go immediately to the billions of people desperate for vaccinations. Any waste would be the true ethical crime.

So very saddened by the sudden death of my friend John Duffy, one of the founders of @StrategyCorp . We debated against each other in high school and attended many a Model UN. I stood in awe of his brilliance and outspoken nature. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Still relatively strong Saturday vaccination numbers for yesterday in Ontario with a total of 29,975 including 11,100 who overcame barriers and hesitancy and got their first doses! #ThisIsOurShotCA to be #TogetherAgain

Wonderful leap in vaccinations in Ont yesterday to total of 43,855 incl 21,284 first doses (the highest in weeks!!!) vs 35,152 & 15,692 respectively day before. Proof-of-Vaccination announcement already paying important dividends. #ThisIsOurShotCA to be #TogetherAgain

Solid Friday for vaccinations in Ontario with a total of 37,333 including, wonderfully, 12,729 who got their first dose. Maintaining this rate or better will get us to 90% with one dose in under 30 days. This is doable. #FasterSavesLivesAndLivelihoods #ThisIsOurShotCA
