TSN , a Canadian based sports network. I have 5 TSN channels to choose from. Right now, 4 of the 5 are Blacked Out, the other is offering up an NBA game between the Lakers and the Pelicans. How awesome.

During the regular season the Canucks were: 8 - 1 - 2 vs the remaining final 4 teams. 11 - 5 - 2 if you include the playoffs. Clearly we can ( and did ) hang with the better NHL teams. Let's hope for some off season improvements to take the next step!!

The Canucks registered their 1st ever NHL victory in their 2nd game ever played. It was in 1970 and it was against the Leafs, I was there. Last night, we beat em again. I was not there. Unlike me, it never gets old.

For those complaining about the Canucks NOT getting an offensively gifted 3rd line center. Barclay Goodrow - TB's 3rd line C. 28 yrs, 93 pts in 331 games. Jason Dickinson - Van's NEW 3rd line C. 26 yrs, 63 pts in 221. Both very similar in size and both effective on the PK.

My Mom and Dad ( RIP ) told me about growing up in England during WW2. Both of them were kids when bombs were being dropped on their towns. Gas masks, bunkers, food rationing and death. To think there are grown ups out there today, unwilling to do their part. Pathetic.

Whether the Canucks finish 1st or 2nd we'll LIKELY be playin 1 of 3 teams in the 1st round. Vegas, LA or Nashville. Winning our Div, our Conf or the PC would be nice, but I honestly don't care. All I care about is good health and some decent momentum heading in.

Since Yzerman took over in Det, his team has drafted 40 players in 4 yrs, inc. 5-1st rndrs and 9-2nd rndrs. Aside from 2 top 6 picks ( Seider and Raymond ), only 1 other has played AT ALL ( 6th rnder Soderblom-21 gms ). Of course, a few more may make it, but, they may not.
