Today, I was playing bball outside at my local court. A man was playing when I got there, and we shot to ourselves. Then he motioned me over and showed me a google translate on his phone. It said he wanted to play with me. He couldn't speak english, and I can't speak any spanish.

He had never played H.O.R.S.E before, so I taught him and he caught on quick. He started smiling and laughing as we made shots back and forth. I learned his name was Rodrigo and he had moved from Mexico a few years ago. We had almost nothing in common except a joy of basketball.

Lately I’ve been in a creative slump, but I was inspired by one of many amazing Satchel Paige stories. In 1965 at the age of 59 years old, Paige came out of a 12-year retirement and pitched three innings for the Kansas City A’s. He didn’t allow a run. Legend.

I colorized another photo! This is Sandy Koufax pitching in the '65 Fall Classic. This series was notable because Sandy didn't pitch game 1 with it falling on the Jewish holiday yom kippur. This story only uncovers a bit of his amazing career. (These are so fun to make btw)

OKC just had an undrafted rookie drop 30 points in a game 7. We have young studs in SGA, Dort and Baz. We have 15 draft picks through 2026. We just pushed a contender to 7 games in the playoffs when we weren't even supposed to be here. The future is bright. Thunder UPPPPPP!!!!
