A'isha رضي الله عنه said:
"You will never meet Allāh with anything better for you than having few sins.
Whoever wants to surpass those who exert themselves in worship,
let him stop himself from committing numerous sins."

"Disobeying the desires puts a servant in a position that if he makes an oath by Allāh in supplication (to receive anything), Allāh will fulfil it. So he executes for him many folds more than the desires that he abandoned."

When the veil has been lifted on the day of judgement revealing the value of good deeds for the people, they will not see any action better in reward than the remembrance of Allāh [dhikr] at that time a group of people who will sigh [because they missed out] and say ++
"Nobody can guard your secrets better than you, so do not blame anyone for revealing your secrets, for you could not hide them yourself. Your secret is your prisoner, which if let loose it will make you its prisoner."
Ibn al-Mubarak رحمه الله said:
"Those with deep insight never feel safe from four matters:
•A sin committed in the past which they don't know what Allah has done with it
• A lifespan which remains to unfold, they don't know what lies in it of destruction ++
When Allah granted Prophet
Yusuf عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ physical beauty it caused him to be locked up in the prison; but when Allaah granted him knowledge (when he interpreted the dream of the king) it not only took him out of prison, but elevated his rank in society,
"A righteous spouse does not come through your personal striving. It is sustenance that is brought to those who fear their Lord."

As He favoured you over the rest of creation, favour Him in your heart over all your wants and needs.
Truly disgraced is he who does not know Him.
Poor is he who shuns away from Him.
Humiliated is he who seeks pride in other than Him, 1/2
The comfort of the body is in (eating) little food, and the comfort of the soul is in having little sins, and the comfort of the tongue is in speaking a little.

From the Sunnah is that you do not help anyone in disobedience to Allah, whether they be parents or any of the creation. There is no obedience to a human in disobedience to Allah and no one is to be loved for that; rather all of that is to be hated for the sake of

Al-Imam Ali b. Muhammad b. Habib Al- Mawardi رحمه الله:
Some of the wise said:
"Whoever does not bear the humbleness in learning knowledge for an hour, will remain under the humiliation of ignorance forever."

Sufyān ibn Uyaynah رحمه الله said:
"Whoever sins due to desire, have
hope for him and whoever sins due
to pride, fear for him; because
Ādam sinned due to desire and he
was forgiven, whilst Iblis sinned out of pride and is (eternally) cursed."

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.
Qur'an 5:51
And the believer, if he is afflicted with physical or psychological harm, (and) he says:
This is a ni’mah (blessing) from Allah by which Allah expiates my bad deeds. If he feels this feeling, what occurred of the pain (calamity, hardship) becomes a blessing.
Be patient and bear the hardship of life conditions and abstain from being with those whose concern is worldly pleasures for your religion cannot be perfected except by doing so. Compromising on one matter shall lead to another. Just as the waves on the ocean lead to the beach.
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
The heart that loves Allah loves being exhausted and exerting itself for Allah; surely Allah's love is not acquired through comfort!
