The Spartans gained a fan in heaven today. Reuben always asked how the team was doing. He would drive the security cart out to games to watch and loved his RHS baseball hats. He bled blue and orange. RIP Reuben, we will miss you in the stands.

Romeoville defeated Minooka 7-4 today. Ulysses Munoz earned the win striking out 4 and AJ Cappelletti earned the save. Kevin Murphy had 3 hits and an RBI and Cappelletti has a huge 3 RBI double. Joe Selby, Dylan Scafuri, and Luis Delgado also had 2 hits apiece.

Varsity pounded out 12 hits in a 11-1 win! Jimenez had 3 hits, Spiecker and Kolze each had 2, and Hannah and Sanchez had 2 RBIs each. Kolze and De Leon shut the door on the mound only allowing 3 hits. Kolze struck out 7 in 4 innings and De Leon 2 in 2 innings.

Varsity picks up a big win for Senior Day! Walk off win 9-8. Hunter Frost has 3 RBIs including the game winning RBI. Julio Garcia earned the win in relief. Tyler Gallegos has a huge outfield assist and Ryan Ferguson was a warrior today catching 14 innings!

Varsity with a walk off win, 6-5 vs. Plainfield East! Braden Lee with the walk off bunt! AJ Burnett went the complete game allowing 2 ER, and 5 K’s. Corey Boyette and Nick Kolze had 3 hits each. Boyette had a 3B and Kolze had a 2B, a 3B, and 3 RBIs. Game 2 tomorrow at East.

Varsity earned a good win 3-2 today. Ulysses Munoz went the complete game only giving up 3 hits and striking out 3. Anthony Perez had 2 hits and Julian Jimenez got a hit and the game winning RBI. Nice work boys, let’s go for the sweep tomorrow!
