From my songwriter storyteller collection. The song was inspired by my daughters. Didn't matter where we traveled, they just wanted to go back again with me. They'd say, "Daddy, I love this place, when are you going to take me back?!" It stuck with me and so, this song was born.

This is an ode to my Jamaican heritage and reflect my respect and admiration for the women of Jamaica...my mother, aunts, cousins and wife.

Hello Melissa, Like most artists, we go through periods of self doubt and come out of it stronger when we put our experience to pen or canvas. This song was inspired by that journey when I realized if I want to be heard, I would have to speak strongly and clearly in my own voice.
