Well I did #runtheriver for @TeachFirst this morning. Included the Waterloo lake in Roundhay, so there was some water. I know the maths says different but 10k is def more than double 5k! Lovely to be running figuratively with many other runners this week around UK and beyond.

Last week a real @TeachFirst legend passed away. David Wasp was an inspiring tutor for @CCCUEducation for many years. Previously a teacher and leader in schools in London who needed him most. A wonderful person and an advocate for teachers and pupils everywhere. We will miss him.

Day 3 of #TFSI2021 @TeachFirst . Remember the importance of focus. Dedicated time to think deeply about certain aspects. In school this will be so important but it can be hard when there are so many important things to be done. Try and build that habit now. Have a great day.

Take a deep breath before you start @TeachFirst #TFSI2020 day 14. Think today about focus not fluff. Great teachers think what the heart of the lesson/explanation/feedback is. They mould that carefully and strip out the rest. Saves time and directs efforts . Keep going and enjoy.

It's day 11 of @TeachFirst #TFSI2021 . There will be days in teaching where it goes right and days where it doesn't no matter how great your plan is. Make a note and move on. Don't dwell too much. There are other pupils and you need to be present for them. Good luck today

It's day 12 of #TFSI2021 @TeachFirst . Wellbeing is important and challenging. It provides the fuel to sustain your work. It's personal -so work out what helps you, what hinders and make positive habits. The stronger the habit, the more likelihood of keeping it. Enjoy the day.
