The amount of lenience Muslim societies give to men to repent/change/grow after making mistakes vs the strict/uncompromising standards held for women is absurd. May Allah protect us from hypocrisy.

@YasirQadhi Men will never be able to fully understand the struggles that come with wearing hijab. They can try to empathize, but in the end it’s a difficulty that they can’t relate to. From experience, men advising women to cover up causes resentment/annoyance rather than desire to cover up

Notice how the wording when it comes to father’s actions shifts blame off of him by attributing it to shaitaan but directly accuses daughters of the way they dress. So disgusting and against what Islam teaches us.

This is hypocrisy and Islam does not preach this. Allah commanded the punishments for adultery to be equal for both men and woman. This is an example of how people use cultural beliefs to twist and misinterpret religious commandments.

Muslims always say ‘we need more women scholars!’ not realizing how many women scholars have been pushed away from the public spotlight because of this. People are so quick to give a platform to men who have barely begun their journeys but not to women who have studied for years.

The replies to this are ignorant & shallow. Islam didn’t prohibit eating in public during Ramadan, so claiming it’s illegal because it’s a Muslim country is wrong. Fasting is supposed to teach us patience & tolerance - for everything to be accommodated for us defeats the purpose.
