My grandfather was Red Army but respected Germans he thought they were good fighters under the Imperial army in WW1 & under the Wehrmacht in WW2. But he didn’t respect Banderites, they were hiding from his unit during Minsk offensive. They killed kids & women in Khatyn, Lahoysk
