I had a meeting with the amazing 3rd year Architecture Students of KNUST who are making waves by designing buildings inspired by our local adinkra symbols. A style they have coined as "ADINKRATECTURE".

To think that in reality most teachers would mark him down for this just irks. School systems really should reward ingenuity. Smart work over hardwork anyday.
Ghana currently has a housing deficit of over 1 million. Our aim is to be a contributor to solving this problem and do it in style while at it. We present ourselves as a new breed of Ghanaians who don't always want to complain but be part of the solutions to the problems of Ghana

The meeting was crowned by an exhibition of their skillful work. In attendance was the Dean of the School of Architecture, management of the Centre for Business development, Kumasi Innovation Hub, several lecturers and students.
The aim is to push an agenda of promoting our cultural heritage through every facet of our education including the design of buildings and structures. Symbols like nkyinkyim, gye nyame, akofena which have deep cultural significance were used.
We call on
@GhanaPresidency
and government, private investors to help us build this dream of making Ghana a better place. If you've come this far, please retweet and tag all possible investors you know. My next post will have photos of their exhibits.
On Saturday, I paid a visit to the Kumasi Innovation Hub to check on my young entrepreneurs (student entrepreneurs under training under my office's initiative) on one of their training sessions. I must say I like what I saw.

Ghanaians share their nation with me. So today I gave back by donating blood at Ghana’s National Blood Service. I can honestly say that expert nurse Kate made it almost painless. It’s a wonderful feeling to know my blood will help save the life of someone in Ghana who needs it.
calling something culture doesn't take away inherent diversities. The continent surely doesn't have "one culture" but we definitely have significant similarities in the way we do things across Africa; that is culture...the African Culture.

tweet I see because while I may not be nigerian or live in Nigeria, I reckon that injustice could happen to anyone anywhere and that our efforts in fighting evil is what makes us human. SARS has to go.

The session continued with a tour to some businesses and enquiry into their mode of operation. In the end, it was all smiles at the sight of what we had accomplished in just a day.
We hope to be the change that Africa needs. God bless Ghana, God bless Africa!

It is of even much importance that of the people captured in this initiative are people living with disabilities; to help them cope with daily challenges. As I always say, disability should not necessarily translate into inability. We can do whatever we put our minds to.
At this point I don't know why UTAG doesn't have an official Twitter page we could use for referencing. The tachycardia is too much. I hope it's fake though 😂.

The session continued with analytic presentation of proposed solutions to these problems coupled with methods of monetising these solutions. The session was chaired by Mr. Makafui Bedzra, who joined the meeting via zoom.

Congolese Villagers get the biggest surprise of their lives, after discovering a whole mountain full of Gold!
They are digging the soil with gold deposits in it, and taking them home.
I'm not sure this is exactly what the SRC of KNUST had in mind when it declared this supposedly "peaceful" demonstration. May God be our helper.

I don't know if you live in Ghana but Ghanaians are very receptive and welcoming. Sometimes it's almost as if they love foreigners more than their countrymen. But hey, no one likes crime. Our leniency can't be taken for weakness. We love our Nigerian friends so watch your words.
Why do I have a feeling that all these destructive actions by students on KNUST campus is somewhat more inclined to the mixed hall saga.

The meeting started with subgroup discussions. I was told the team had been divided into subgroups (of about 10 each) the week before and had been tasked to find specific problems in the Ayeduase Community and solve them with the entrepreneurial skills they had acquired so far.
