Tomorrow marks 89 years since the Kinder Scout Trespass, a landmark protest on the route to improving access to the countryside for all. The Ramblers were founded soon after & we've been campaigning for & improving access rights in many ways ever since 🙌

22 years ago today the #CRoWAct introduced the #FreedomToRoam In 2000 this was a HUGE step forward for walkers' rights & one we fought hard for. But today it covers only 8% of England & is not equally spread. We're launching a campaign to expand it 🥾🌲

Not good enough ⚠️ Today's agreement on #Dartmoor is encouraging progress but not enough. Our permissive rights today can be taken away tomorrow. The legal right to wild camp needs to be re-established & we'll support @dartmoornpa to achieve this. 🏕️ ➡️
