If your takeaway from last night is focused on "Weigman sucks/played bad" and not what his opponent did I would recommend firing up the game from last year where the Heisman winning number one pick was seeing ghosts for 60 minutes.

Unfortunately for Gonzaga the worst thing to do is get close to winning a title and then play poorly against a great opponent. That actually makes you way worse than teams who didn't get nearly that close. Those are the rules and I do not make them.

With the Northwestern and Stanford wins, the Irish finish the season with victories over two 10-win teams and two 9-win teams by an average margin of 18 points in the four games. Not bad.

Iowa State is a perfect opponent to close out this particular season: A very solid team by all metrics but not flashy and a little unlucky in their record so now an ND win will be dismissed as meaningless while an ND loss will be seen as a massive failure.
